Our city is growing at a rate of 4.2% a year making it one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas of the world. Much of the growth is due to rural families moving to the city in search for work. Most of these urban immigrants live in non-formal settlements (slums) in and on the outskirts of the city. As a result, they do not have easy access to drinking water, sanitary toilets, cooking gas, good medical care and there are no government public schools in the area.
Our vision is to transform the lives of the people in the target area through prayer, teaching and by providing proctical help. We especially hope that the children there will grow up to live useful, fruitful and productive lives.

We are working to provide opportunities to the students who have dropped out, used to study in the village, but stop studying in the city, work and roam around and the extreme poor people living in the suburbs, who live in slums to study for the second time. In the future they can continue to read.

We offer basic computer classes to students who have completed primary school. These classes help to upskill students not only in skills needed for life in a growing digital economy but also improve job prospects for students.

Through this program the youth and women are to improve the quality of life through tailoring and sewing training programs. Their status in the society should increase as these young women become self-reliant.
